The Central Base Station (CBS) is an outdoor-rated SimplySnap gateway, designed for rugged environments where reliable wireless lighting control is essential. It features the same web-based user interface, 802.15.4 SNAP mesh radio, Ethernet connectivity, and Verizon cellular access as the SS450, but in a durable, IP65-rated enclosure built to withstand harsh outdoor conditions. With a 6kV surge protector, the CBS ensures secure, long-range wireless communication, making it the ideal solution for parking lots, sports lighting, and large outdoor facilities. Additionally, the CBS includes a built-in 5-button switch, allowing users to configure and trigger up to five lighting scenes per button for quick, on-the-fly lighting adjustments.
